The Southern Medical Association's 117th Annual Scientific Assembly, being held in New Orleans November 13-15, 2025, will unite healthcare professionals across specialties and disciplines in a collaborative forum addressing critical aspects of oncology care and prevention.

SMArtBowl: Teams of medical students and/or residents can register to participate in this fun-filled, in-person competition consisting of rounds of multispecialty medical trivia questions.
Abstract Presentations: Medical students, residents, and fellows who placed in the Top 20 in SMA’s virtual abstract competition will present their research in-person.
Farewell Dinner: SMA’s Assembly will conclude with an evening of dinner and dancing, ending with the SMA Presidential Inauguration and Awards Ceremony.
