U.S. Senator Tommy Tuberville (R-AL), Ranking Member of the U.S. Senate HELP Subcommittee on Children and Families, today introduced Dr. Brian Stone of Jasper to testify before the committee. Dr. Stone is the President and Chief of the medical staff of Walker Baptist Regional Medical Center of Brookwood Baptist Health Systems in Jasper, Alabama. He also founded Jasper Urology Associates in 2008, which has a service area of more than one million people in Jefferson, Walker, Tuscaloosa, Fayette, Marion, Winston, Cullman, and Blount counties.

Dr. Stone was selected to testify before the United States Senate Committee on Health Education, Labor, and Pensions at a hearing titled "What Can Congress Do to Address the Severe Shortage of Minority Health Care Professionals and the Maternal Health Crisis?"
