John L. Parks, MD has joined Birmingham Heart Clinic from the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi.

Parks is an Interventional Cardiologist specializing in cardiac catheterization, echocardiography and nuclear cardiology.

Parks has developed an expertise in structural heart procedures such as TAVR, CTOs, PFO closures and MitraClip.

He completed his fellowship at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, SC and residency at the University of Mississippi Medical Center.

Parks is seeing patients at Birmingham Heart Clinic's offices at the St. Vincent's Birmingham, 119 and Gardendale locations.
