Alabama Cardiovascular Group (ACG), an affiliate of Grandview Health, opened an office in Sylacauga in September.

"We are excited about this opportunity,"said Joaquin Arciniegas, MD, senior partner with ACG.

The new office, open Monday through Friday, is staffed by cardiologists Juan Bernal, MD, FACC;

Hasan Guven, MD, FACC; Byron Jones, MD, FACC; David Schultz, MD, PhD; and James Taylor, MD, FACC, along with Jeff Herald, NP.

ACG will offer a full array of inpatient and outpatient cardiology services, including invasive and noninvasive procedures.

In addition to the main office on the Grandview campus, ACG also has offices in Pell City, Trussville, Fultondale and the Southside of Birmingham.
