Helen Combs has resumed the role of Administrator for Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center effective July 2016. Alabama Allergy & Asthma Center is celebrating 50 years of excellence in care for their patients with six locations for their practice.

Combs previously served as the Administrator of the Center from 2000-2011. She has continued to serve as the Administrator and Partner of their affiliate research company, Clinical Research Center of Alabama since 2000. Prior to 2000 she was the Practice Plan Administrator for the Division of Gastroenterology at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons, New York, New York.

Combs returns to this position with over 20 years of experience in successful practice management including expertise in finance, marketing and operations.

Combs is a recognized national speaker on the topics of Practice Administration and Healthcare Marketing. She has served on many industry and community boards including serving as a Past-President of the Medical Group Management Association of Birmingham. She is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma & Immunology Practice Management as well as the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, and the Association of Clinical Research Professionals
