Shin Oh, MD, professor of neurology and pathology and director of the Division of Neuromuscular Disease in the Department of Neurology at UAB has been designated a distinguished professor by the Board of Trustees of the University of Alabama System. Oh is the author of four textbooks related to the diagnosis of neuromuscular disease and is the recipient of the Distinguished Researcher Award for 2006 from the American Association of Neuromuscular and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. Oh earned his medical degree from Seoul National University in Seoul, Korea, and compled residency training in Korea and at Georgetown University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
