Trinity Medical Center was ranked number one in Alabama in overall cardiac services for the second year in a row, according to a study released by HealthGrades, an independent healthcare ratings company. In addition, the study rated Trinity best in the Birmingham area for cardiology services and cardiac interventional procedures including angioplasties and stents. The hospital received five-star ratings for interventional procedures and treatment of heart failure and atrial fibrillation.
