After hosting a successful summer conference in Destin, MGMA Alabama, the second largest MGMA chapter in the United States with over 700 members, recently elected officers for the coming year. Tony Wallace, the Administrator of Clinical Urology Associates of Gadsden is President, while Jim Crandall, CPA, the Director of Finance for Cardiovascular Associates is President Elect. Sharon Bumpers, the Clerical Services Manager for Cardiology Associates of Mobile was elected Vice President. Debi Waldrup, CMPE, the Administrator for Birmingham's Pulmonary Associates of the Southeast, was elected Secretary/Treasurer.
