Trussville-based Accelerated Physical Therapy is expanding into Pelham, with its second location at 2691 Pelham Parkway. Todd Howatt, PT, the Clinical Director for the new Pelham location, received his degree in Physical Therapy from The University of New England. He previously served as Director of Outpatient Spine Rehabilitation and Clinical Director at HealthSouth, before practicing at Orthopedic Sports Medicine of Alabama. Emmett Parker, PT, ATC, the founder of Accelerated Physical Therapy, practices in the Trussville location. Parker, who holds a BS degree from the University of Alabama and an MS in physical therapy from UAB, has been practicing for 10 years. Preston Winn, PT, the Clinical Director of the Trussville location, holds a BS degree from BYU and an MS in physical therapy from the University of Delaware and has been practicing for six years. Accelerated Physical Therapy provides outpatient physical therapy primarily for orthopedic, sports medicine and spine patients in state of the art facilities.
