In October, the School of Nursing launched the Clinical Pearls podcast, adding an audio arm to the UAB Nursing Health Network.
"Through the UAB Nursing Health Network Clinical Pearls program, our faculty has been able to discuss relevant health care issues aimed at nursing professionals through YouTube videos and professional development opportunities. A podcast is the next step toward reaching a wider audience," said Doreen Harper, PhD, dean and Fay B. Ireland Endowed Chair in Nursing.
The Clinical Pearls podcast is an audio-only format of the live UAB Nursing Health Network's YouTube series, which launched in the summer of 2018. UAB School of Nursing faculty share their expertise and educational resources with the show host, while offering up-to-date information on current health care issues and the nursing profession.
New episodes of "Clinical Pearls" release every other week, and the podcast is available on iTunes, Spotify and other popular podcasting apps.
