Christopher Heck, MD, has joined the medical staff of Grandview Medical Center. Heck specializes in Spine Surgery and practices with Southlake Orthopaedics at Grandview Physicians Plaza.

Heck received his medical degree from the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile. He completed his residency in orthopaedic surgery at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine, followed by a Spine Fellowship at Duke University.

Prior to relocating to Birmingham, Heck practiced in Montgomery, Alabama for 10 years. He is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Alabama Orthopaedic Society, Southern Orthopaedic Association, AOSpine North America, North American Spine Society, American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, Society of Lateral Access Surgeons, and National Osteoporosis Foundation.
