Walker Baptist Medical Center has introduced a new solution for prostate cancer detection with advanced MR/Ultrasound Fusion Biopsies. Termed as UroNav, this new technology offers an alternative prostate screening option for patients with elevated and/or rising PSA levels, which can improve the detection of prostate cancer and remove a patient's uncertain state of diagnosis after a prostate exam.

UrnoNav's technology combines pre-biopsy MR images of the prostate with ultrasound-guided biopsy images in real time for excellent delineation of the prostate and suspicious lesions.

"Bringing this system to the Jasper area will allow us to better serve our community and help those who have prostate issues, such as cancer," said urologist Brian Stone, MD.
